Who we are

Our Branch, boasting a membership of over 2,000, predominantly consists of Postal workers, along with professionals in the Telecommunications industry. The majority of our members are employed by Royal Mail, Post Office Counters, and Royal Mail Parcelforce. We also have a dedicated Retired Members’ section, which currently includes around 230 members.

Geographically, our Branch extends across the historical regions of Dyfed and West Glamorgan. Our coverage ranges from Aberystwyth in the north to Port Talbot in the south, and from Fishguard in the west to Llandovery in the east. This area encompasses the City of Swansea and smaller hubs such as Port Talbot, Neath, Carmarthen, Llanelli, Haverfordwest, and Aberystwyth.

Structure of the Branch

The organizational structure of the branch is categorized into three distinct roles: Firstly, the management team responsible for overseeing branch operations. Secondly, the officers within the branch, who handle various internal tasks. Lastly, the field officials, who operate externally and maintain regular communication with the branch for guidance and support
